Established in 2003 by Mendo, the celebrated international DJ, producer and remixer, Clarisse Records has put together one of the best release schedules in the business, collecting cool club cuts from globally respected rulers of the groove, year in year out.
In one deep breath Clarisse has counted on the clout of Audiojack, Cuartero, Daniel Orpi, DJ Sneak, Hector Couto, Jay Lumen, Kidoo, Lorenzo De Blank, Melanie Ribbe, Oxia, Sante Sansone, Technasia, Secondcity and Solardo, all stamping their quality across the Swiss-based label. Strengthening the Clarisse roster closer to home, Aaron Martin, Angel Heredia, Gustaff, Ordonezz, Roxy Delgado and Yvan Genkins are among those who’ve helped put Clarisse’s firm and funky foundations in place.
These formidable line-ups and heavy rotation of top-tier names mean charting success for Clarisse has come easily, and is a reflection of the career of the Swiss-born Mendo, who has been crossing the coordinates of deep, tech, tribal and funky house since the Millennium. With no better place to show off their style than the White Isle, the summer of 2023 saw Mendo fine-tune all of the label’s heaviest hitters, and then apply the magic touch to labels such as Hot Creations, Hottrax, Jamie Jones’ Paradise imprint, and The Martinez Brothers’ Cuttin’ Headz stable. Artists now know exactly where to go for all their mixdown and mastering needs, trusting in Mendo’s do’s and don’ts to give their beats that extra something for when summer season shouts full steam ahead.
With the Clarisse DJs roster guaranteeing a roadblock every time they come to town, Clarisse Nights have already made steps en route to a worldwide takeover, capturing hotspots across Ibiza, London and Croatia.
